Background / My story
Ryan VerWey is a full-stack developer, design system builder, AI integration developer, business owner, defense contractor, and former Army GEOINT analyst.
I build Full Stack products, Design Systems, and AI Integration workflows that connect polished interfaces, practical logic, data operations, searchable content, and durable technical foundations.
My work spans client websites, internal tools, portfolio systems, AI-assisted discovery, design systems, secure application planning, and content architecture built for search engine optimization, answer engine optimization, and generative engine optimization.
I bring a mix of military discipline, business ownership, software delivery, and user-centered design, which lets me move from vague problem to shipped product without losing sight of maintainability or market fit. The fuller timeline lives in my experience, and the shipped work is organized in my project portfolio.

I deliver high-profile web applications, internal websites, and Power Platform solutions that support Department of War missions and improve administrative workflows. The work emphasizes secure delivery, maintainable application structure, stakeholder coordination, and practical tools that help teams move faster inside complex operating environments.
I built Echo Effect as a web development and social media consulting business focused on helping small brands turn scattered digital activity into a clearer sales path. The work combines service positioning, content strategy, responsive websites, lead-generation flows, and client communication.
I own the technology direction for a mortgage rate comparison platform, connecting product strategy, infrastructure, data handling, security, vendor decisions, and application delivery. The role covers architecture, Microsoft 365 administration, cloud planning, budget awareness, and software decisions for a regulated financial technology environment.
I served as a 35G Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst, analyzing imagery and geospatial information to support mission-critical decisions. That background shaped how I approach software: verify the data, understand the operational context, communicate clearly, and build systems people can rely on under pressure.
